It is very simple to take the correct measurement of your childs foot. You will need a sheet of paper, a pencil or pen and a tape measure or ruler.
It is best to tape the paper to the floor so it doesnt move. Stand your child on the paper.
Mark the place where your childs big toe is with a pencil or pen.
Then mark the back of the heel, making sure your child's foot is still in the same place.
When you have made the two marks you can then measure between to get the correct size.

When you have taken your measurement you will need to decide which size shoe to choose. I have given the following example to help you make the correct choice.
'I have measured my babies feet and I have the length 11.5cm and 6cm width, I have checked the shoe sizing guide and can see that this is just over the 0-6m measurements, I need to take into consideration the fact that she will be wearing socks and that her feet will spread out when she stands up, so the correct size to go for is 6-12 months.'
If in doubt about which size to go for, it is usually best to go up to the next size, remember, you can try them on at home and if they are not quite right we are happy to exchange.
